How to Find a Great Pediatrician
It may be that you are getting ready to have a new child or perhaps you’ve moved to a new area and need to find a new pediatrician for your family.
The American Academy of Pediatrics recommends that parents take their child in for seven well-child visits in their first year of life and those visits are just for when they are healthy. Once you add up all the times your child isn’t feeling well and the coming years of bumps, scrapes, ear infections and colds, picking the right pediatrician becomes glaringly important. Over all of these visits your pediatrician will be getting to know you and your child well and it will be essential that you feel comfortable communicating with them.

Therapy Tree Tips
How "Visuals" Can be Beneficial in Therapy
“Use visuals to support direction following & positive behavior. For example, say “first brush your teeth then go to bed.” Then show them a toothbrush & point to a bed.”

Pete the Cat: I Love My White Shoes by Eric Litwin
In 2014 while hiking in Beautiful British Columbia, the owners had a craving for a burger, fries & shake. With an established plant-based diet, they thought “why can’t there be a classic burger joint that is entirely animal free?” They opened Beaut Burger in the summer 2018 in a shipping container and have since opened their spot in downtown phoenix in collaboration with the dessert place, Bristlecone. Make sure to check them out!
Children’s Museum of Phoenix donated six pairs of tickets which were gifted to several of our patients.
One of the top children’s museums in the nation, the Children’s Museum of Phoenix is designed for children ages birth to 10. Not being your typical museum, you are encouraged to touch everything in it. With over 48,000 square feet of space, the museum offers more than 300 play experiences, spread throughout three floors in the magnificent and historic Monroe School Building. In addition, they offer a diverse range of classes and programs – from music and yoga, to math & science. Visit their website for more!
