To promote social distancing, Zoolights is now offering a drive-thru option!

This year, amid Covid-19, one of the Valley’s most anticipated events, Phoenix Zoolights, is now offering two options. Visitors can choose to walk through Zoolights or enjoy the lights from the safety of their car with the new drive-thru option (available on select nights).

The event will showcase millions of Christmas lights throughout the Phoenix Zoo as well as glowing animal sculptures for the Wildlife Lantern Safari. This features 66 creatures including polar bears, mammoths, peacocks and more.

“Cruise Zoolights,” the drive-thru experience, will have expanded trails, sights and sounds. It will also ensure safety from the virus as visitors will be socially distanced in their own vehicle.

On select nights, proceeds from the Phoenix Zoolights will be going to the Valley of the Sun United Way, to support their Pantry Packs program. This program provides 1,500 food packs to local students, every month, during the school year. On other nights, the proceeds will go to the Arizona Center for Nature Conservation/Phoenix Zoo to help the daily costs of animal care and combat the financial challenges of COVID-19.

Phoenix Zoolights will be going until January 31. General admission for the walk-through version it will be $20 per person, while the drive-thru experience it will be $75 per vehicle. The Phoenix Zoo offers different drive-thru packages, as well as lower prices for members.
