1. Have a picnic together in a park

You can get very creative and have some fun with this one. Pick a park near you, get food and drinks, a blanket, and set yourself up in a nice cozy spot outside. To add some extra fun bring some board games or a frisbee. At the end of your picnic, you can also take a nice stroll through the park. With the weather being as nice as it is, it is the perfect time to take advantage of it.

2. Rent out room at Harkins Theatres for a private movie party

If you love watching movies and need to get out of your house, this is the perfect solution. You can reserve a private movie party at Harkins Theatres. Pick the location, time, and movie from a list of options that cost $99-$149 depending on whether you select an old title or a new release. The fee covers entrance for up to 20 guests, so this could also be a fun activity if you’re part of a pandemic group as well. You have to reserve at least six hours in advance. Face coverings are required if you are not eating and drinking.

3. Take a staycation

Why leave town when there are so many great things to do right here in Arizona!? Instead of traveling out of state, check out the wonderful other cities like Bisbee, Sedona, Jerome, Flagstaff, Pinetop, or Strawberry. Each of these towns is only about 2-3 hours away and has a bunch of activities to try out. Some of the things to do include wine tasting, ghost hunting, hiking, camping, and even bar hopping.

4. Take pottery or painting class

Learn something new with your date and take a pottery or painting class here in town. There are several places open such as The Painters Lounge, Paint-A-Holics, and Art For Fun Studio and Gallery. You can paint and sip wine, make new jewelry or even build a new plate for the kitchen in ceramics.
